How to join Google Classroom using a class code?

You need to have a Google account before you can join a Google Classroom. This Google account is your email.

There are three ways where you can join a Google Classroom:

1. A class link—Your teacher sends you the link.
2. A class code—Your teacher sends or tells you the class code. 
3. An email invite—Your teacher sends you the invite. 

Here’s how you can join a Google Classroom using a class code:

Step 1: Go to gmail.com and log in with your email; then click the Google Apps icon at the top right corner of your screen.

Step 2: Click Google Classroom. (You might need to scroll down to see it)

Step 3: Click the plus icon at the top right of your screen, and click Join.

Step 4. Type the Google Classroom code that your teacher gave you.

Step 5: Click the Join button (top right of your screen)

You should now be able to see the thumbnail and name of the Google Classroom that you just joined. Click it to see the postings and announcements of your teacher, or have interaction with your classmates.
